Middle Bucks Institute of Technology announces 2026 summer camp
Jamison, PA — Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT) is excited to announce the return of its highly anticipated Summer Career Exploration Program, taking place July 6–10, 2026. Designed for students entering grades 7 through 9, the program offers an engaging introduction to a variety of career pathways in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
The Summer Career Exploration Program continues to serve as a powerful opportunity for students to explore their interests, build new skills, and experience real-world learning before entering high school.
Students can choose from a wide range of interactive programs, with sessions offered both in the morning (8:00–11:00 AM) and afternoon (12:00–3:00 PM). Each session provides a complete experience, allowing students the flexibility to attend one or both sessions throughout the week. Courses are led by MBIT instructors and staff and focus on learn-by-doing experiences that reflect real career pathways.
“This program gives students the opportunity to explore their interests in a way that is engaging, meaningful, and rooted in learn-by-doing experiences,” said Jeanise Dimitri, Community Engagement and Public Relations Coordinator at MBIT. “We consistently see students leave the week more confident, more curious, and more excited about their future. It’s not just about trying something new, it’s about helping students start to see what’s possible.”
Over the years, the program has proven to be a strong introduction to career and technical education, with many participants later enrolling at MBIT as high school students.
“This program gives students an early opportunity to connect their interests to real-world experiences. said Dr. Mark Covelle, Administrative Director of MBIT. “When that connection happens, it builds confidence, sparks curiosity, and helps them begin to see a future that feels both relevant and attainable.”
In addition to career exploration, MBIT also offers opportunities for younger learners through Li’l Bucks Partners in Learning, further reinforcing the organization’s commitment to supporting students at every stage of their educational journey.
Registration for the 2026 Summer Career Exploration Program is now open. Space is limited, and programs are expected to fill quickly.
