William Tennent High School students earn the distinction of global scholars by the Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association

WARMINSTER, PA – May 5, 2026 – Congratulations to William Tennent High School Seniors: Brea Di Salvo, Eric Herrera, Lindsay Hibbs, Nury Paz, and Robert Spruhde, who earned the distinction of Global Scholars by the Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association. This year, 149 students from 24 Pennsylvania high schools received this honor. This program recognizes students for taking four years of the same language at the high school level. Students also must take four other courses that focus on global issues, maintain a 85% average in their courses, complete literature/media reviews, and participate in community service events. These students received a certificate and a special cord to be worn during graduation.

This is a great accomplishment by these students who have been intrinsically motivated to engage and learn more about society and the world through their studies and volunteer activities,” said Ryan Mulford, William Tennent High School Grade 12 House Principal.
