Warminster Symphony Orchestra presents Celebrating America 250 – “Our People, Our Music”
As the nation prepares to celebrate America’s 250th birthday on July 4, Warminster Symphony Orchestra invites you to experience a grand concert featuring American composers that will set the stage for the many celebrations to come this year.
On Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at William Tennent Auditorium, 333 Centennial Road, Warminster, Pa., 18974, Joseph Lovecchio, Music Director of WSO, will conduct a glorious program of beloved American favorites including Aaron Copland’s magnificent Lincoln Portrait, Ferde Grofe’s quintessential American panorama, Grand Canyon Suite, selections from Leonard Bernstein’s groundbreaking musical, West Side Story, and the overture to George Gershwin’s satiric and amazingly relevant to today’s political atmosphere, Of Thee I Sing.
“This is truly an All-American program that illustrates the spectacular depth and diversity of American composers,” said Joseph Lovecchio, Music Director of WSO. “Not only is the music highly entertaining, it is a tribute to the amazing creative talent that makes our country so unique.”
