The “Touch the Future” art show is a professionally juried art exhibit featuring the works of Bucks and Montgomery County public high school students. Sponsored by the Mideastern Region of the Pennsylvania State Education Association (MER/PSEA) and CAPS, the show began as a tribute to Christa McAuliffe, NASA’s teacher in space who died aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger. McAuliffe’s motto was “I touch the future…I teach.”
The 2025 “Touch the Future” Art Show took place at Montgomery County Community College’s Blue Bell Campus Art Gallery, the 2026 show opens with a reception and awards ceremony on Sunday, March 1. The art show will be open to the public at the Blue Bell Art Gallery through March 26th during gallery hours except from March 9 -14, when the College is closed for spring break.

“Seeing our students work in a curated professional environment is always super satisfying for all of us. Watching the artists engage with their families and navigate the positive energy really brings into focus why their work matters. Opportunities like this offer our young creatives the space to be both seen and heard, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments.,” said Rena Friedant, 6-12 Special Area Liaison, Art.
