Police file fourth set of charges against home improvement contractor thief
Bucks County police filed charges against a 46-year-old Delaware man for committing contractor fraud after taking money to fix hail-damaged homes and never making repairs.
John D. Paoletti, who owns Choice Remodeling and Restoration, is currently the subject of active arrest warrants and has been criminally charged in four separate cases of theft and fraud.
Authorities believe that Paoletti may have committed similar deceptive practices in other jurisdictions and that there are likely numerous unidentified victims. The scale of the alleged fraud is significant, with confirmed losses in the current cases exceeding $80,000.
If you hired John D. Paoletti or his company Choice Remodeling and Restoration for home improvement work, paid him in advance, and the work was never completed or your money was not refunded, you are strongly urged to contact police.
