Jeannine Fielding joins Warminster Township as executive assistant

(WARMINSTER, PA) — Warminster Township is pleased to announce that Jeannine (Jen) Fielding has been hired this month as an Executive Assistant to Township Manager Tom Scott. Fielding is a seasoned Executive Assistant (EA) with more than 16 years’ experience in executive support. She previously worked in Warrington Township as the Executive Assistant/Board Secretary and editor of The Link newsletter. She has provided C-suite level support for a law firm, a wealth management firm, a defense contractor and even the federal government.

It came as no surprise to Scott, that Jen would be a good fit for the position, as she brings many years of understanding in how municipal government works, but also a sunny personality that brightens up the Township building and board meetings. “Jen is a breath of fresh air, and we are pleased to have her join the team, working with my office and the department heads,” said Scott. “I know that Jen will jump right into this role and bring her ideas and project-minded support to the team for greater efficiencies, which will help the residents feel heard when they are in communication with our office,” he added.

When asked “Why municipal government?” Fielding responded that she is passionate about working with and for the people. “Often, residents don’t know whom to call or what to do to handle local government issues such as roads or emergency services and I’m happy to work with our department heads and the Township Manager to walk them through the process.” She also said that she has always wanted to serve as a public servant since her career began working for the U.S. Senate for the Ethics Committee during the 1990s.

Fielding is also a volleyball coach, a volleyball player, a freelance writer and avid reader, and she “bleeds” green for the EAGLES. She lives in Warrington, Pa. with her two cats.
