DA Office: Bucks County Justice Center deemed safe and reopened

The Bucks County Justice Center was deemed safe and has reopened to the public and staff following a temporary evacuation earlier this afternoon [May 28].

Out of an abundance of caution, a situation arose at approximately 12:30 p.m. that prompted the implementation of evacuation protocols at the Bucks County Justice Center. All visitors and employees were safely evacuated from the building as a precautionary measure.

First responders reacted promptly to assess the situation. Following a thorough review, and an investigation by Bucks County Detectives, authorities determined that there was no credible threat. After approximately 90 minutes, at 2:00 p.m., the all-clear was given, and normal operations at the Justice Center have resumed.
