Warwick supervisors approve 2026 budget with no tax increase

Warwick Township Supervisors approved a 2026 budget last month with no tax increase.

The millage rate will remain at 15.256 mills total – 11.25 mills for general fund revenue alone.

The budget includes the following highlights:

  • Funding for (4) additional firefighters and a fire services coordinator
  • Capital Projects:
    • Installation of sidewalks between the CVS Pharmacy and St. Cyril’s Church on Almshouse Road
    • Upgrade to traffic signal timing matrix at York Road and Almshouse Road
    • Engineering services for plan design of the Valley Road bridge replacement
    • Engineering services for plan design of stormwater management facilities in the Park Rd/Meadowview Drive development
    • Additional sunshades at Guinea Lane and Community Parks
    • Fencing to enclose the Hampton Chase and Hidden Pond playgrounds
    • Replacement of a zero-turn lawn mower for the Parks and Recreation Department
    • Replacement of (2) Police SUVs
    • (2) additional speed radar board signs for speed enforcement
    • (1) additional F-250 pickup truck for the Parks and Recreation Department
    • Replacement of a 6-wheeler Public Works dump truck
    • Facility Renovations:
      • Connect the Public Works facility to public sewer
      • Administration/Police furniture replacement
      • Elevator refurbishment
      • Sprinkler system renovations
      • Generator replacement
      • Police parking lot rear gate replacement
      • Fuel management system replacement
  • Road Program (roads to be repaved):
    • Arbor Court, Lafayette Drive, Fairmount Drive, Scott Place, Alex Lane, Sterling Street, Maxwell Manor, and Ross Lane
