Warrington Police to participate in ‘Battle of the Badges’ blood drive

The Warrington Township Police Department will take part in the upcoming “Battle of the Badges” blood drive, a friendly competition among local first responders aimed at boosting the region’s blood supply.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lindy Community Center, 3129 Bradley Road in Warrington.

Organizers say the drive brings together police, fire and other emergency personnel in a collaborative effort to support the community through blood donations. Residents are encouraged to participate, donate and show support for their preferred team.

Appointments are recommended and can be scheduled online at redcrossblood.org using sponsor code bbwarrington or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS.

As an added incentive, donors who give blood during the month of May will receive a $20 Amazon eGift card as a thank-you for their contribution.

Warrington Police are encouraging all eligible residents to take part, noting that each donation has the potential to help save lives.
