Warminster Police Department welcomes two new recruits

(WARMINSTER, Pa.) — The Warminster Township Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce that Sean Metz and Taj Weems have joined the Warminster Township Police Department. They were sworn in by the Honorable Christopher E. O’Neill, Magisterial District Judge for Bucks County, at the December 4 Warminster Township Board of Supervisors meeting.

Metz is a lifelong resident of Warminster Township and a graduate of William Tennent High School. He attended York College, where he was a member of the soccer team and graduated with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Metz is eager to begin his career at the Warminster Township Police Department and is committed to protecting the community he calls home.

Weems is a resident of Philadelphia and a graduate of La Salle College High School. He attended Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, where he was a National Army ROTC Scholarship recipient and member of the Hood College soccer team. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology. Weems is a Second Lieutenant in the Army Signal Corps Reserves and is excited to put his training into action at the Warminster Township Police Department and make a positive impact on the community.
