Vehicle overturns after driver hits tree in Hilltown

Emergency crews responded Tuesday evening to a crash in Hilltown Township where a vehicle reportedly struck a tree and overturned onto its side.

The incident was reported around 7:23 p.m. in the area of 2723 Rickert Road, according to emergency dispatch information. One caller reported a vehicle into a tree and resting on its side. The lone occupant, a 36-year-old woman, was able to get out of the vehicle on her own.

The driver was evaluated for a wrist injury at the scene. Additional details on the cause of the crash were not immediately available. Police, fire and EMS responded to the scene.
