Update on CBSD leadership; new members sworn in

Dear CBSD Community, 

Last night, we held our annual School Board Organization Meeting. On behalf of the district, I’d like to congratulate Heather Reynolds (Region 1) for being unanimously elected School Board President and Susan Gibson (Region 1) for being unanimously elected School Board Vice President at the meeting. Mrs. Reynolds served as Vice President and Mrs. Gibson served as President last year. 

I’d also like to congratulate the four board members elected in November who were officially sworn in by the Honorable Stephen A. Corr of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas at the meeting. 

Daniel Kimicata (Region 3) continues his service after joining the board in September 2024 and being elected to a four-year term last month. We also welcomed three new faces on the board: David Comalli (Region 3; two-year term); Katrina Filiatrault (Region 3; four-year term); and Amanda O’Connor (Region 2; four-year term). We thanked our outgoing board members Rob Duggar, Jim Pepper, and Jenine Zdanowicz at our November 20 meeting; each was presented with a plaque of appreciation.

The board also approved its business meeting schedule for 2026. Meetings have been moved from the third Thursday of the month to the fourth Thursday. The next meeting is Thursday, Jan. 22. We look forward to working with our newly sworn-in board members and elected leadership, as well as returning board members Dana Foley, Rick Haring, and Karen Smith, for the benefit of all CB students and schools.
