Triple-murderer gets life sentence for Falls rampage – Bucks Round-Up – May 29, 2025
Triple-murderer sentenced to life without parole in Falls Township rampage
Andre Gordon Jr., 27, will spend the rest of his life behind bars after pleading guilty Wednesday in Bucks County Court to three counts of first-degree murder. The Falls Township man received three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole, plus an additional 156½ to 313 years for a string of violent crimes committed on March 16, 2024. Gordon’s victims included his 13-year-old sister, his stepmother Karen Gordon — a U.S. Army veteran who died shielding her daughter — and 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, the mother of two of Gordon’s children. The brutal morning rampage began in Levittown, where he broke into his father’s home after carjacking a vehicle in Trenton. Doorbell footage captured Gordon confronting his father before forcing entry. Minutes later, he fatally shot Daniel at her Edgewood Lane residence. Prosecutors say the sentencing ensures Gordon will never walk free again.
Bristol Township School Board advances tax hike in $180M budget
Bristol Township property owners could soon face higher tax bills. The school board has approved a preliminary $180 million budget for 2025–26 that includes a proposed millage increase from 220.14 to 231.81. Board President James Morgan explained the 5.3 percent hike would add roughly $219 annually — or $18.20 monthly — to the average property owner’s bill. Morgan stressed that this figure is not final and the board will vote on the finalized budget at the end of June. Still, the preliminary approval signals continued pressure on taxpayers to fund district operations.
