Third fatal victim of nursing home blast identified
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office was contacted by St. Mary’s Medical Center on 1/5/2025 for the death of an individual that was a victim of the explosion and fire at the Bristol Health and Rehab Center on 12/23/2025. The decedent Patricia Mero, 66 year old female, was a resident of the facility and following the explosion was transported to the ER at St. Mary’s Medical Center with injuries sustained from the blast. The decedent was pronounced at St. Mary’s on 1/5/2026 at 10:18am. The decedent was transported to the Bucks County Coroner’s Office and examined on 1/6/2025, the cause of death was determined to be “Chest Trauma” and the manner of death being listed as “Accident.”
