Dear CBSD Community,
Today, we recognize Teacher Appreciation Day and the many educators and staff members who make our schools special places in communities across Central Bucks. On behalf of the district, I thank our teachers – and all staff members – who show up for students with care and commitment each and every day, in both calm and challenging times. From classrooms to cafeterias, from bus routes to main offices, every person plays an important role in supporting the success and well-being of the 17,000 children and young adults who attend our schools every day.
At the core of this work is our shared focus on students and the student experience. To mark this day, I invite you to watch a short video featuring a few of our current students as they reflect on the educators who inspired them. It’s a reminder that behind every teacher and staff member, there are many people – mostly unseen – whose lives are positively impacted because of their efforts.
