Qualifying CBSD residents: Save money on CBSD property taxes
Dear CBSD Community,
A new Central Bucks School District Property Tax Rebate Program recently approved by the CBSD School Board is now available to help senior citizens, people with disabilities, and lower-income residents with their school property taxes.
Modeled after Pennsylvania’s existing property tax and rent rebate program and similar efforts in neighboring districts, CBSD’s new initiative provides a rebate from the district equal to 50% of the state rebate, up to $750. For example, if a CBSD resident receives a property tax rebate from the state for $1,000, the resident may be eligible for a property tax rebate of $500 from Central Bucks School District. The CBSD rebate is not 50% of a resident’s CBSD property tax bill.
If you already get a state rebate, you qualify for the district program. If you don’t qualify, please share this opportunity with eligible friends, neighbors, or family members.
You qualify if:
Your household income is $46,250 or less (only half of Social Security counts toward income) and you are:
-65 or older
-A widow or widower age 50 or older
-Permanently disabled and at least 18 years old
-You apply for and receive a state rebate
When and how to apply
-Apply between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026
–Download the application
-Complete, sign, print, and return the application to: CBSD Property Tax Rebate Program, CBSD Administration Center, 20 Welden Dr., Doylestown, PA 18901
-We hope all qualifying residents take advantage of this program and thank our entire community in advance for helping us spread the word!
Sincerely,
CBSD Administration
