Q3 fundraising: Harvie takes in $217,745 while Fitzpatrick has $6.9 million war chest
The Q3 fundraising numbers are in.
Q3: third quarter of 2025. From July 1 through September 30.
Takeaways. Have to dig in to find out why incumbent Republicans spent much more than Democrats over the last three months.
Among incumbent Republicans, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-01) had the best three-month period with nearly $887,000 raised. On the Democratic side, Rep. Summer Lee (D-12) posted the biggest haul at over $427,000.
Around the Keystone State.
PA-01. Bob Harvie (D-01) posted $217,745, but Fitzpatrick’s $6.9 million war chest will be hard to overcome.
PA-03. State Sen. Sharif Street had the best quarter among Dems looking to replace Rep. Dwight Evans in Washington with $352,358. State Reps. Chris Rabb and Morgan Cephas brought in over $257,000 and $155,000, respectively, and newcomer Dave Oxman also hit six figures at $108,500.
PA-06. Republican Marty Young had a strong quarter with more than $186,000 which was not far off the pace set by incumbent Chrissy Houlahan at $215,000.
PA-07. It was a big three-month period for four candidates. Incumbent GOP Rep. Ryan Mackenzie brought in more than $456,756.72, but that figure was nearly equaled by Democratic hopeful Ryan Crosswell at $380,128. Fellow Dem challenger Bob Brooks secured $308,000, while Northampton County Executive Lamont McClure raised nearly $230,000, setting the stage for one of the nation’s most closely-watched and expensive races.
PA-08. It was a big number for Rep. Rob Bresnahan at $598,000, but not enough to open some distance from Democratic challenger Paige Cognetti who had a $500,000 haul.
PA-10. Signaling that the 10th Congressional District will be hard-fought, Democratic challenger Janelle Stelson brought in a whopping $1.246 million in Q3, far surpassing the $649,000 total of incumbent Rep. Scott Perry.
Senators. Junior Sen. Dave McCormick and his committees still owe more than $21 million to his two campaigns.
