Police seek help identifying suspect in Target theft, fraud case

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect linked to a series of theft and fraud incidents that began in the parking lot of the Target at 401 Easton Road. According to Warrington Township Police, two men in a silver sedan stole two credit and debit cards from a vehicle parked outside the store around 8:53 p.m. on July 31. The suspects then entered Target and committed a retail theft before leaving the location.

Investigators said the pair later used one of the stolen debit cards to make fraudulent purchases at the Walmart at 299 Valley Gate Drive in Warrington around 9:08 p.m. A second transaction was attempted at the Giant Food Store at 270 W. Street Road in Warminster around 9:24 p.m., but that purchase was denied.

Police said one of the men has been identified, but the other remains unknown. A surveillance image shows the unidentified suspect on the right-hand side.

Anyone with information on the unidentified suspect is asked to contact Officer Kyle Areias at [email protected].
