Plumstead Township launches online veterans honor roll to recognize service
Plumstead Township is taking a digital step to preserve and honor the legacy of those who served, with the launch of a new Veterans Honor Roll on its official website.
The initiative, introduced by the township’s Veterans Committee, creates a centralized, public-facing space recognizing local veterans and their service to the country. The online honor roll serves as both a tribute and a historical record, offering residents a way to reflect on the individuals who have contributed to the nation’s defense across generations.
Township officials said the project is rooted in a simple but meaningful goal: ensuring that the names and stories of veterans remain visible and appreciated within the community. The page includes a growing list of veterans connected to Plumstead, acknowledging their service and sacrifice, from the communities of Pt. Pleasant, Plumsteadville, and Gardenville.

The honor roll is expected to expand over time as additional names are submitted and verified, creating a living archive of service tied to the township. Residents are encouraged to visit the page, review the list, and take part in recognizing those who have served.
The Veterans Committee emphasized that the effort is not just about remembrance, but about fostering ongoing respect and awareness for veterans and their families within the community.
