One dead in Bucks County head-on collision involving pickup truck and construction tractor-trailer Thursday morning
One person is dead following a head-on collision between a red pickup truck and a Haines & Kibblehouse tractor-trailer hauling a CAT loader on Mountain View Drive/Route 563 in Haycock Township, Bucks County Thursday morning.
The accident was reported around 11:45 a.m. at the intersection with Pheasant Run Road, near the Lake Nockamixon boat launch area.
Mountain View Drive is closed between Durham Road/Route 412 and Old Bethlehem Road, while Pennsylvania State Police and other authorities process the scene.
The identity, gender and hometown of the pickup truck driver is unknown at this time.
Avoid the area.
