Fitzpatrick recognizes next generation of military leaders: PA-1 Class of 2030 service academy nominations
Langhorne, PA (Feb. 23) – Today, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1) announced his nominations to the United States Military Service Academies for the Class of 2030, recognizing 32 exceptional young men and women from across Bucks and Montgomery counties who have distinguished themselves through academic excellence, strength of character, proven leadership, and a demonstrated readiness to step forward in service to the United States of America.
“Few responsibilities are more profound than nominating the next generation of military leaders. Over the past several months, I’ve had the privilege of meeting with these students — hearing about their motivations, families, and the mentors who shaped them. What stood out was not just their academic, athletic, and service achievements, but their maturity, discipline, and clarity of purpose,” said Fitzpatrick. “To wear our nation’s uniform is to accept the solemn responsibility of defending the Constitution and safeguarding the American people. There is no greater trust. At a time when principled leadership is needed more than ever, these young men and women have demonstrated the integrity and resolve that service demands. PA-1 has always produced leaders willing to step forward when called — and this class continues that tradition.”
Each year, Congressman Fitzpatrick’s Service Academy Nomination Committee — comprised of decorated veterans, active-duty service members, and retired military leaders from within the district — conducts a rigorous and highly competitive evaluation process to identify the most qualified candidates. Nominees are considered for appointments to the:
- United States Military Academy
- United States Naval Academy
- United States Air Force Academy
- United States Merchant Marine Academy
These institutions forge leaders of consequence, individuals entrusted with commanding troops, safeguarding American interests, and upholding the ideals that have defined our Republic for 250 years.
