Bucks County launches Lower Bucks Center construction livestream
The County of Bucks [December 4] announced the launch of the Lower Bucks Government Services Center construction livestream.
Streaming 24/7 at BucksCounty.gov/LBGSC, the video feed invites residents to follow along from the ground up as the new facility comes to life in Bristol Township.
“Here is an opportunity to watch in real time as your tax dollars are put to work and invested right back here in your community,” said Commissioner Chair Bob Harvie.
Construction on the new facility began earlier this year on the County’s campus along New Falls Road. The 39,000 square foot facility will replace the existing, undersized county government building which has served Bucks County’s most populous communities for decades.
When completed, it will house accessible offices for 13 County departments, including some row offices and court offices.
Departments with permanent offices in the new building will include:
- Adult Probation
- Board of Elections
- Children & Youth Social Services Agency
- Consumer Protection/Weights & Measures
- District Attorney’s Office
- Domestic Relations
- Health Department
- Juvenile Probation
- Prothonotary
- Register of Wills
- Sheriff’s Office
- Veterans’ Affairs
- Workforce & Economic Development
The building was designed by Erdy McHenry Architecture. Land development engineering services have been provided by Carroll Engineering, with construction management performed by TN Ward Company.
