Bucks County jury convicts registered New Jersey sex offender for indecent assault of Morrisville girl
A Bucks County jury today convicted a registered New Jersey sex offender of indecently assaulting a 10-year-old girl last year in Morrisville Borough.
Derrick Wyche, 58, of Newark, New Jersey, was found guilty on Dec. 3, 2025, on felony counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age and corruption of minors.
The jury trial began on Monday before Common Pleas Judge Charissa J. Liller. Sentencing was deferred to a future date.
The investigation began on Oct. 23, 2024, when the victim’s mother met with Officer Amanda DeLuca at the Morrisville Borough Police Headquarters to report the abuse of her 10-year-old daughter. The mother said the assault happened in September, at her residence in Morrisville.
