Buckingham Township making an inventory of its heritage trees
Do you have a tree of rare aesthetic or historical value? We want to hear from you!
Does your tree predate the American Revolution?
Was it planted by or associated with a person of note?
Is it exceptionally tall, full, or beautiful?
Do you have a good story about it — or an old photo that shows it?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above, we want to hear from you! Buckingham Township is making an inventory of its heritage trees in order to preserve them.
Send us an email to telling us why your tree is exceptional. Specimens selected for the initiative will be dated, tagged, and included in our registry of heritage trees. It’s all part of Buckingham’s 325th anniversary observances. Be a part of it!
Send Email to [email protected] with your address, photo of tree, and your contact information!
The Heritage Tree Inventory Program was initiated as an idea by the Buckingham Environmental Advisory Commission (EAC).
