Buckingham Township earns Bird Town Pennsylvania certification
Buckingham Township is proud to announce its designation as the 84th Bird Town in Pennsylvania, a significant achievement in the Township’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The Bird Town Resolution, passed at the March Board of Supervisors Meeting, reinforces Buckingham Township’s dedication to ecological initiatives aimed at increasing “green” living, promoting a culture of conservation within the community, and generating positive environmental outcomes.
Bird Town Pennsylvania is a partnership initiative led by the Audubon Society, designed to support municipalities in creating healthier, more sustainable communities for birds, wildlife, and people alike.
